Curried Chicken Salad
This makes a wonderful luncheon dish with hot French bread!
- 5 cups diced chicken
- 1 cup sliced water chestnuts
- 1 cup pineapple tidbits
- ½ cup chopped scallions
- ½ cup sliced almonds
- 1 cup sliced grapes
Dressing:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 2 tablespoons Dotterer’s mustard
- 1 cup Hellman’s mayonnaise
- 4 tablespoons Major Grey’s Chutney
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
Mix salad ingredients together. Mix the dressing ingredients together and add to salad mixture.
Roast Beef with Red Onion and Dotterer’s Mustard or Hot Pepper Jelly
- Bulkie roll or homemade bread (thick slices)
- Mayonnaise
- Dotterer’s Mustard or Hot Pepper Jelly
- Sliced red onions
- Roast beef (thinly sliced)
- Salt and pepper
- Alfalfa sprouts
Spread a generous amount of mayonnaise on both sides of bread. Pile on the roast beef, salt and pepper, and spread with Dotterer’s Mustard or Hot Pepper Jelly. Top with sliced onion and alfalfa sprouts. Slice in half and serve with dilled pickles.

Pork Tenderloin Baguette
- French bread (baguette)
- Mayonnaise
- Dotterer’s Hot Pepper Jelly
- Roast pork
- Salt and pepper
Spread bread with a generous amount of mayonnaise. Slice roast pork and layer on bread. Sprinkly with salt and pepper and spread a generous amount of hot pepper jelly on top of the pork. Slice on the diagonal and serve.

Bistro Lunch
This calls for a glass of wine!
- Extra sharp cheese (cheddar, asiago, parmesan, reggiano)
- French bread loaf
- Butter (unsalted)
- Dotterer’s Hot Pepper Jelly
- Chopped walnuts
Have available a large wedge of sharp cheese. Take a fork and just break off a chunk. Put the chunk on a plate with French bread spread with butter. Add the hot pepper jelly over the cheese and the walnuts on top of that. Assemble it bite by bite.

Meatloaf Sandwich
- Assemble on your favorite bread.
- Hellman’s mayonnaise
- Sliced meatloaf
- Dotterer’s Hot Pepper Jelly
- Iceburg lettuce
- Red onion (optional)
Roast Turkey Sandwich
- Assemble on your favorite bread.
- Roast turkey (white or dark meat) ~ use leftovers!
- Hellman’s mayonnaise
- Lettuce
- Stuffing or cheddar cheese
- Generous helping of Dotterer’s Hot Pepper Jelly
- Cracked pepper and salt
